Knowledge Channel Now in Ifugao Province

Notwithstanding monsoon weather, Rafael M. Alunan III, President of Lopez Group Foundation, Inc. (LGFI) and Rina Lopez-Bautista, President of Knowledge Channel Foundation KCH), recently went up to Ifugao Province to turn over two sets of KCH satellite dishes and educational television packages to the public schools of Mayoyao and Alfonso Lista, last July 20, 2009.

This first entry of KCH in the Ifugao area was an answer to the appeal for educational television by local officials to LGFI Chair Oscar Lopez months before when the Lopezes visited the Province. This now makes Knowledge Channel present from North to South of the Philippines. Also present were DEPED representatives, Mayor Charles Cattiling of Alfonso Lista, and Ifugao Governor Teodoro Baguiliat, Jr. Following their classroom saying in the background "You do not know what you can do till you try," the students of Mayoyao asked their officials for Knowledge Channel and by their trying, they were able to know that they can do it, after all.
