Lopez Group Foundation, Inc. recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement with USAID--Private Sector Mobilization for Family Health (PRISM) for the third phase of their partnership for the training of trainors and implementation of the family planning and reproductive health program in the workplace. Executives and officers from participating companies, namely, ABS-CBN, Bayan, Meralco, First Balfour, Rockwell, Skycable, First Sumiden and EDC, also attended the event.
The 9 companies participating in the Family Planning (FP) in the Workplace Program received something to boost their immunity: vaccines. The Department of Health gave free vaccines for Tetanus Toxoid (for adults) and Hepatitis B (for babies) to ABS-CBN Corp., ABS-CBN Foundation, Bayan Telecommunications, Inc., First Sumiden Circuits, Inc., First Balfour Inc., MERALCO, SkyCable Inc., Rockwell Land, Inc. and Tollways Management Corp.).

The five companies under the Family Planning (FP) in the workplace program of Lopez Group Foundation Inc (LGFI) signed an agreement last February 4, 2008 that will enable employees to avail of No Scalpel Vasectomy services in the Meralco Corporate Wellness Center (CWC). The employees are expected to consult their FP counselors first from their clinics before going to CWC for the procedure.
If you see an employee wearing a fluorescent yellow button pin, with a big smiley face that says “Ask Me About Family Health,” it means he/she is a trained family health peer educator.
Shares the expertise of Meralco in teaching the basic principles of safety and prevention of work-related accidents (MMLDC also supports Management and Leadership Programs for Electric Cooperatives).
