The remodeled Asian Institute of Management (AIM) caserooms were recently inaugurated by Lopez Group Foundation Inc. (LGFI) chairman Oscar M. Lopez (OML), Lopez family members and executives from Lopez Holdings, ABS-CBN, First Philippine Holdings and Meralco.
Renovated were the Lopez Holdings Corporation Caseroom, ABS-CBN Caseroom, First Philippine Holdings Corporation and Meralco Caseroom. Also renovated were the Alumni Relations Office, Student Services Admissions and Registration Office and Lobby, among others.
The AIM building was donated by the Lopez family through the Eugenio Lopez Foundation Inc. in 1968. More than 40 years later, in July 2010, the family, through OML reaffirmed their strong support to AIM through a donation to renovate the ground floor lobby, offices and caserooms of the Eugenio Lopez Foundation Building.
The renovation is a continuing commitment of the Lopez Group to higher education for local and foreign students. AIM, which is ranked among the world’s top 100 business schools, has produced over 37,000 degree and non-degree graduates from more than 70 countries. These graduates serve in the forefront of their organizations and help in sustaining the growth of Asian societies by being professional, entrepreneurial and socially responsible leaders and managers.
