The Lopez Group Foundation, Inc. (LGFI) and the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) , through LGFI Member Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI) aim to further the reach of the educational TV series Salam through subtitling of the episodes in English.Salam, aired over Sky Cable Channel 42, depicts peace concepts and relevant social issues in simple, everyday situations and shows how one can contribute in promoting and sustaining a peaceful society.Signing the Memorandum of Agreement are KCFI President Rina Lopez Bautista and LGFI Executive Director Cedie Lopez Vargas, witnessed by KCFI Executive Vice-President Doris Nuval and LGFI Program Officer Angela Lopez Guingona.

Lopez Group Foundation, Inc. (LGFI) and Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) have partnered to support government efforts of advancing the peace process. This is made possible by LGFI member Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. through its 12-episode series Salamaired over Sky Cable Channel 42.
Salam integrates important peace concepts and relevant social issues with World History lessons supported with relevant information and recommendations from experts in the fields of history, education and the peace process. The series, through the mother and son portrayal by tv talents Susan Africa and Makisig Morales, makes use of everyday situations in a teenager’s life – personal, family, school and community – as the son discovers the significant role each one must play in promoting and sustaining a peaceful society.
The partnership aims to further the reach of Salam through the subtitling of the episodes in English.
